Well they pulled out of western Europe in July when they stopped building the QX30 and Q30 in the U.K. , apparently they had 60,000 customers, 10,000 in the U.K.. Ceasing all European operations by 2020. They want to focus on China (oops, a little late to the party and that area isn’t doing too well), North America (with trumpie in office it’s only a matter of time with tariffs or vehicles and steel and aluminium), Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia. I guess NZ isn’t in the Asia focus.

TIL that Infiniti was in NZ at all...
I have to imagine what a small US state would be like, floating 2,000 miles away from any other market, then try to figure out the logistics there. Even if you’re already in Oz, it’s not like you can just drive across a bridge.
I always thought it would just make more sense to merge some of Nissan and Infiniti’s vehicles under the Nissan name in smaller markets. I know I’m oversimplifying.
